TONS of people send me private messages, emails or just ask in person what is a good point and shoot camera to buy. I have always directed them to canon because that is what I know. I know squat about Nikon or any other brand camera. Kevin Kubota a photographer I follow ,for obvious reasons, suggested this camera and oh my goodness, I am so adding it to my wish list!
The Samsung TL500 is just a little over $400 which is under the $500 range most of my peeps are asking for. I so need a travel camera and I think I may do some shopping! Maybe I could throw that Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L in the cart too.
